Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Giglio Travel Agency Srl (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit this website, get in touch with us, or otherwise interact with the Sound of Riviera 2026 event (3–5 July 2026, Sorrento Coast). We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Italian data-protection law (Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 as amended).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is SoundOfRiviera, with registered office at Corso Italia 261 80067 Sorrento, VAT/Tax ID 09410631213. You can contact us about privacy matters at info@soundofriviera.com.
2. What data we collect
Data you provide to us. When you email us, sign up to be notified about the event, register interest in tickets, or otherwise contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number and any information you choose to include in your message.
Data collected automatically. When you browse the website, our servers and the tools we use may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, approximate location (derived from the IP address), device type, browser, operating system, language, the pages you visit, referring URLs, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected through server logs and cookies or similar technologies (see Section 4).
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (such as data revealing health, political opinions or religious beliefs). Please do not send us such information.
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To respond to you and manage your requests, including questions about tickets, the line up or the event — legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling enquiries, or steps taken at your request prior to a contract.
- To send you updates about the event (e.g. “save the date” and ticket-release news) where you have asked to receive them — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, prevent fraud and abuse, and produce aggregated, non-identifying statistics — legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe and effective website.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interest.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to function and to keep it secure. Where we use non-essential cookies — for example analytics or cookies set by embedded third-party content — we will ask for your consent through a cookie banner before they are placed, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Service providers who act on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, form handling, analytics and security providers (acting as data processors under contract).
- Ticketing and event partners, where you choose to buy tickets or register through them; such partners process your data under their own privacy policies.
- Social media platforms, if you interact with our pages or links on those platforms (see Section 9).
- Public authorities, courts or advisors, where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR — such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — so that your data continues to receive an adequate level of protection. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards using the contact details above.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy: enquiry correspondence is generally kept for up to 24 months after the last contact; data used for event updates is kept until you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe; technical and log data is kept for short periods for security and statistical purposes; and any data we are required to retain by law is kept for the applicable statutory period.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data; obtain rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@soundofriviera.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
9. Third-party links and social media
This website links to external sites and platforms, including our Instagram profile. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. When you follow such a link or interact with embedded content, the relevant third party may collect data about you under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16 without appropriate parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Please review this page periodically.
13. Contact us
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle your personal data, contact us at info@soundofriviera.com or write to us at the registered office address listed in Section 1.
